Went to Slo Coffee at Pacific Centre in Vancouver while waiting for an appointment yesterday. I was so fascinated to see a coffee from India, which I had never tried before! Ended up getting both of the offerings and it was an interesting experience. The coffee from India was described as “robust” and I definitely agree with that. Kind of subtle to drink and quite nice with a bit of oat milk. The Ethiopia on the other hand was super funky, very floral, sweet and really juicy. Absolutely got that sensation of biting into a slightly under-ripe apricot or peach. Challenging to drink without some milk but adding some oat milk sweetened it up and gave more of the caramel as well as muted the funkiness. Really tasty.
